The Algerian national railway authority recently announced significant progress in the construction of the Tindouf-Um Asal railway line. This 175-kilometer southwest core transportation artery is accelerating subgrade leveling and track laying. Notably, Aigre's Flash-butt Welder With Rail-road Vehicle has become a key support in overcoming complex topographical challenges with its high-efficiency welding and multi-scenario adaptability.
Facing the special working conditions of 50℃ high temperature and 1,200 meters above sea level, the Flash-butt Welder Manufactured by Aigre has demonstrated excellent adaptability. The welding system can operate stably within a temperature range of -20℃ to 50℃, ensuring that rail joints reach a strength of 900MPa—meeting the seamless welding standards for 350km/h high-speed railways. The pressure-holding and flash-butt trimming function, combined with the integrated trimming knife design of the machine head, improves flash removal efficiency. With a 3,000kN horizontal clamping force, it ensures the precision and reliability of welding for both heavy-haul and high-speed railways. The free switching between road and rail modes effectively solves the transportation problem of heavy equipment in desert areas.
Algerian Ministry of Transport officials emphasized that the successful application of Aigre's Flash-butt Welder marks a new stage in the technological collaboration between China's high-end equipment manufacturing and Africa's infrastructure needs, injecting strong impetus into the construction of Africa's modern transportation network.
